Fighting Temptation

imageI saw a story line or rather news line today, “Morrisons has become the latest big British retailer to remove confectionary from its main bank checkouts, following a number of complaints from customers.” Kudos to Morrisons but will this actually stop the craving? How about Pound stores that got almost half of the stores beautified with tempting confectionary? Am sure you might be wondering what my point really is. Ok, what if the stores stock more of healthier alternatives. I feel it’s not the position of the confectionaries that is the problem but the affordability. What about educating, advertising and encouraging healthy living. Who knows one day kids will grow to prefer water to coke and an apple to a candy.
